Job Type: Internship - Hybrid/Remote

Branding & Marketing Intern Job Responsibilities:

  • Manages the company’s social media accounts and posts content.

  • Brainstorms campaign ideas.

  • Monitor various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, and Linkedin.

  • Creates monthly emails for NAEC

  • Analyzes analytics to gauge the success of campaigns.

  • Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.

  • Engages with customers or clients and provides service and/or sales.

  • Provide suggestions to management for improving customer experience on social platforms and internal processes.

  • Learns and becomes proficient in internal software systems.

  • Assists in creating performance reports.

  • Support marketing campaign planning and execution.

  • Write copy for social media posts, promotional emails, and other marketing collateral.

  • Assist in the creation of written, video, and image content for marketing channels.

  • Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions.

  • Assist in the management of website SEO.

  • Take part in formal and informal training opportunities.

  • Measure and report the results of marketing initiatives.

  • Bring new and big ideas to the table with a digital/ social first mindset, as well as collaboratively build on others’ concepts to deliver NAEC/Client engagement

What does the day-to-day look like? This position will be given work that will not exceed 15 hours per week but not go under 10 hours per week. This is a paid position starting at $13/hr. Interns will be requested to complete training each week to strengthen their branding/marketing skills. This internship will also qualify for course credit. Along with this, our team will attend community events as a part of networking opportunities. The individual hired will also receive company material upon hire. Along with this, there are opportunities for income growth within the company. 

Intern Qualifications / Skills:

  • Social media marketing

  • Online engagement

  • Organization

  • Professionalism

  • Customer focus

  • Experience in Canva required

  • Experience in Adobe Creative preferred 

  • Drive to push yourself 

  • Basic photography, image and video editing, and graphic design skills

  • Applied understanding of basic marketing principles

  • Familiarity with major social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, etc.)

  • Creative problem-solving skills

  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently

  • Comfortable with multitasking in a deadline-driven environment

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Understanding of SEO techniques and best practices

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • In 3rd or 4th year of a college undergraduate program or beyond

  • Prior industry experience is preferred

  • Successful completion of introductory courses in marketing, business, or equivalent

  • Must have 10-15 hours available each week 

  • Must own a computer
